About HaramCoins

HaramCoins is a free, educational reference that helps Muslims understand the Islamic-finance considerations behind popular cryptocurrencies. We summarise, in plain language, why a coin may be considered permissible, doubtful, or concerning — and we always show our reasoning.

Transparency: our assessments follow one public methodology applied equally to every coin. A few listed projects — currently EURO (EUROFI) and Arkana (ARKA) — are operated by the same team behind this site; these are clearly marked on their pages and held to exactly the same criteria as any other coin. We earn nothing from labelling a coin permissible, and our goal is clarity and honesty, never hype.
